Played a few credits on 1943 yesterday, and actually managed to raise my highscore quite a bit. My score went from 300 420 to 746 170 points, and managed to stay alive to the end of stage 7. Unfortunately I managed to miss just about every secret on every stage, so I think that I can do alot better than this. Just have to continue playing and to learn where all the secrets are.
Changed ship type in DonPachi yesterday, from A-type to C-type, and that helped a bit on level 4. Mostly because the C-type has a widespread shot that will kill most small enemy ships before they can start shooting at you. It’s also a bit easier to do larger chains because of this. Managed to raise my highscore with about 1.5 million points and my max hit to 72. Level 4 is still a bitch though.
Played a few rounds of DonPachi yesterday and finally learned where all the bee medals are located on the first level. Now I usually get over 1million points on that level. But since I’ve now can find all the bee medals on the first level, I of cource start to get nervous and screw up on the later levels! Well, you can’t have it all I guess =/. Managed to raise my highscore a bit at least, but forgot to check what my max hit was because I got so pissed and unplugged the cabinet right after looking at my score.
Level 4 still rapes me fucking hard!

Managed to squeeze in 2 quick rounds of DonPachi tonight and actually improved my weak score a little. I really wish I had more time to play..
I can one-life to the level 3 boss, but then it’s straight to hell with everything. And yeah, my chaining still sucks.
